General Information

The Ontario Dental Association (ODA) is celebrating its 150th Anniversary representing 150 years of organized dentistry in Ontario. The Annual Spring Meeting (ASM) presented in conjunction with the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) is the signature dental conference and trade show of the ODA. It is one of the largest and most respected dental conventions in North America and continues to be a popular meeting place for all dental professionals.

Take advantage of this one-stop- shop, all-under-one-roof opportunity to connect with speakers, exhibitors and colleagues, to learn, network, share best practices and exchange information.

You will learn from the best and brightest minds in the dental profession and gain valuable education that will help the dentist and the dental team to be successful in your profession and in your personal life.

CONFERENCE VENUES

Most sessions for ASM150 are located at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building. However, once again for ASM150, we have expanded programming and some sessions are located in the North Building.

ACCESSIBILITY

The ODA is committed to complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and will provide reasonable accommodation to persons with disabilities. The ASM150 venue, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, is a fully accessible facility. If you require an accommodation due to disability during any aspect of the ASM150, please submit your request to hmcdowell@oda.ca or call Helen McDowell at 416.355.2274 in advance of the event so that arrangements can be made with the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

ROOM CAPACITIES

Room capacities are set by the fire marshal for the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and are required to be observed by the organizers and by ASM attendees. The room monitor has the responsibility to observe the room capacities and to communicate to attendees when the session room is full.

SESSION INFORMATION

Category 2 and 3 courses are included in general registration fee. Category 1 (Core) courses and workshops are ticketed sessions which require registration and an added fee in addition to the general conference registration fee. Registration for ticketed sessions is limited; therefore, we strongly recommend that you register early to avoid disappointment and ensure your course selection.

There are two session start times in both the morning and afternoon on Thursday and Friday.  Morning sessions start at 9:30 am and 10:00 am and the afternoon sessions start at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. Saturday morning sessions start at 8:30 am and afternoon sessions start at 12:30 pm.

Please check the ASM website, Final Guide, Mobile App or on-site signage for your session start times.

All sessions are 2.5 hours in length in the morning and afternoon. There are no scheduled breaks during the sessions. For your convenience, water stations are located in each session room.
